Hello, I’m Christel!
My presenting journey began with my love for creating video content. I started back in 2007, vlogging comic conventions across the UK. I joined the Doctor Who comedy troupe FiveWhoFans in 2014 and a year later, BBC Studios came across my content and hired me to host Doctor Who: The Fan Show on YouTube. This lighthearted companion to the main series ran from 2015 to 2018 where I had the chance to interview stars like Peter Capaldi, Matt Lucas and Michelle Gomez, as well as writers like Steven Moffat, Russell T Davies and Mark Gatiss. More recently, I was one of three presenters for the Official Doctor Who Podcast, celebrating the show’s 60th anniversary, and was a contributor for Ranked on BBC iPlayer.
