Hello, I’m Christel!
I’m a geeky content creator with a combined 70k+ followers across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. I make videos exploring the worlds of Doctor Who, Star Wars, Marvel and Pokémon, with a focus on fan culture and community.
I started making videos back in 2011, vlogging at comic and cosplay conventions around the UK and interviewing attendees. In 2014, I joined the Doctor Who comedy channel FiveWhoFans, and in 2015, BBC Studios came across my content and I began presenting Doctor Who: The Fan Show which I hosted until 2018.
After a short break, I returned to content creation in 2022, focusing on short-form videos on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts. In 2023, I returned to presenting as the host of the Official Doctor Who Podcast for BBC Studios. I signed with United Agents in late 2024. I currently host The Whoniverse Show for BBC Studios which launched in 2025. You can read more about my presenting work here.
In July 2025, I was nominated for Rising Star bCreator of the Year at the ITV bCreator Awards.

eBay Live (2025)
eBay Live approached me to promote the platform at their activation at Birmingham Comic Con. I was given a budget to bid on an item being sold at the activation that day and document the experience. I captured the excitement in an Instagram Reel, as well as several stories throughout the day linking to the live streams taking place at the show.
Thunderbolts* Premiere (2025)
I had the opportunity to attend the multimedia screening of Thunderbolts* and used it as a chance to create content. Instead of simply vlogging the experience, I worked the footage into trending social formats - one piece even reached nearly half a million views on Instagram.

Tufting London (2025)
I was invited by Tufting London to create a rug at their studio. To my surprise, one of the other guests was Varada Sethu who appeared in that year’s season of Doctor Who and also stars in Andor. I knew my audience would love that, so I made her appearance the hook for the video.

Bridge Command Immersive Experience (2024)
I had the chance to test and review Bridge Command, an immersive experience where you step into the year 2180 as part of the United Confederation Navy crew. I created a reel documenting my experience which resonated brilliantly with my sci-fi-loving audience.

Magic The Gathering x Doctor Who (2023)
I participated in a video shoot playing with the new Doctor Who-themed Magic The Gathering decks alongside four other content creators. In collaboration with Yours Truly PR, I also created additional content for my own channels to promote the sets, including a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot and an unboxing featuring all four decks.
Regeneration at Riverside Studios (2023)
Riverside Studios reached out, seeking my help in spreading the word about their exhibition marking 60 years of Doctor Who. I created a Reel to give my audience (many Doctor Who fans) a sneak peek. The response was fantastic, with a surge of interest and substantial organic views.

When Star Cutouts kindly sent me one of their Fourteenth Doctor cardboard cutouts, I couldn't resist creating content with it. I produced four pieces featuring the cardboard cutout in total, each accumulating over 150k views on Instagram alone.

I’m comfortable presenting to live audiences and communicating with media outlets.
My experience includes presenting a live event for BBC One, appearing as a guest on BBC Radio 4's Saturday Live, and hosting a panel at a Los Angeles conference in front of 3,000 people.
